I just got this completed a few days ago, and after many guns over the years for hunting and fur gathering, i think this one is a pretty special gun. Up here in Alaska, theres a firearm on me at all times, as you never know when fur will present itself. Probably just phasing out in preparation of Gen 3. The hype train has slowed down quite a bit, but they're still pretty popular uppers, and PWS (the manufacturer of them) is doing fine. They'd be nuts to discontinue them. As for the lowers, I don't know.
