Before attempting f7 i'd reccommend grinding to cata 30. Its a baseline for most f7 parties that can get s+ which is what your're looking for Also i personally would reccommend sb level 150 or 160+ cause the hp from level is important Dont rush dungeons. Honestly, mage isn't great in f7 (especially as cata 30) w/o hyperion. I played bers until about cata 32 then switched to mage when I could afford a hyperion. I assume you're having trouble finding decent parties as a mage w/o hyperion whereas archer with bones (or even melee tank/bers/healer) might still get you into parties.The term LCM means left-click mage, which is essentially where a player uses berserker talisman reforges, mage armor reforges and berserker weapons to use the mage beam and attack mobs.
