You can still build toward an obstacle-based Cragheart. For one thing, many/most scenarios already contain single-hex obstacles, which the Cragheart uses to power its abilities. For two, there are higher levels you can sacrifice that don't really help toward the obstacle build much. Levels 6 and 7 can be used to take early obstacle cards. Our Mindthief and Cragheart both just retired. Most of craghearts straight damage attacks don't affect allies. The ones that do, only do one or two damage. A heads up like 'if you end your turn there, you're going to get hurt' is nice but taking one or two damage should not be a big deal. It honestly didn't come up that much. Hello! Piercing bow is good but cragheart has plenty of other ways to deal with shields. Volatile bomb also has the advantage of being one-handed so you can pair it with a shield. Or also bringing an at Prosp 7 or whatever it is. It really depends what build you are going for cragheart.
