While 'support' classes are usually Medic, Engineer, and probably Pyro, some loadouts help to make other class play the support role pretty well. A couple of examples~ I absolutely love the Tank Buster set for Soldier. It has good self sustain and Battalion's Backup is sooo good for pushes AND denying pushes.
